Description: Handbags, wallets, pocketbooks, as a cake artist you're all too familiar with them. They are hugely popular amongst women and young girls and a must know how to do for any fashionista. This class does not focus on making one hand bag, but rather focuses on all the details that can be used with any realistic looking leather surfaced cakes. Learn how to imprint for an authentic looking surface, the correct placement and method of zippers, flaps and covers, handles and straps, stitching and embroidery. And equally important the contrast of leather and precious metals, to create the hardware such as clasps, rivets, push buttons, locks, corner reinforcements and hardware to attach handles. Then bring your leather surfaces to life with airbrushing. Learn how to shade, mix the colors and create realistic looking 3-D effects. This class will teach you so many different methods and trick of the trade, that can be applied to many many different projects.
